Redmond Family and Cosmetic Dentistry was merging with another local dental office and was exploring a new name and branding for their practice. They are an upscale dental practice that demanded a classy look but they didn’t want to sacrifice the friendly feel of their current office. I helped them through the brainstorming process of choosing a name and possible solutions for their company mark. One of the names I offered up was “Signature Dentistry” which is what they settled on to represent their practice in their new location. It conveyed quality and a step above in artistry and customer service.
These were the final designs presented to them in the proposal. The colors I proposed were fresh and clean, which I felt were critical for a dental office. I began with an elegant approach on the first option, in line with the sophistication of this office. For the second I played with the thought of “teeth” and forms that would abstractly represent the growth of their office and their clients and leaf forms are what emerged. For the third, the client liked the idea of a smile in the logo somewhere so I adapted that idea into a form that loosely represented a smile and the patient, the thought being a happy client and a beautiful smile.
